What I worked on
Design system theming, UI layout across pages, component selection, brand translation, copy-to-layout structuring, QA support, and social media post templates.
Helped ship multiple brand websites by adapting a modular design system to new identities and turning copy into structured, on-brand page layouts.
Mission: Insurance conglomerate
The challenge:
Mission launches multiple insurance brands quickly. Branding comes from an external agency, but the websites must be built fast, consistently, and within tight budget. Inputs were often incomplete (desktop-only homepage, basic guidelines, copy that didn’t always fit components), so the real work was making everything “snap” into a cohesive system without reinventing the site each time.
The approach:
Theme Setup:
Duplicated an existing theme and swapped colors, type, buttons, and UI tokens to match the new brand.
Component Mapping:
Translated homepage design into reusable component choices, then used the glossary to build the rest.
Copy-to-Layout Structuring:
Shaped long copy into scannable sections using existing blocks like lists, accordions, and CTAs.
Edge Case Handling:
Filled gaps the brand handover missed (hover states, overlay nav, secondary buttons, hero variations).
The impact:
Faster Site Turnaround:
Once the theme was set, the remaining pages became repeatable and quick to assemble.
